Q: How long is the round trip?
A: The Egmont Key excursion is 4 hours. The ferry ride to Egmont Key is approximately 1 hour and you’ll have 2 hours to explore the pristine beaches, historic lighthouse, ruins of Ft. Dade, and the amazing wildlife before your return trip.

Q: Where do I park?
A: The Sundial Parking Garage is within walking distance.There are other several parking garages near the St. Pete Pier. Click this link https://stpetepier.org/getting-here-parking for more information. Another great options is the FREE Downtown Looper Trolley.
Q: Does the ferry make multiple stops?
A: The ferry service does not make any stops on the way from the dock to Egmont Key or from Egmont Key to the downtown St. Pete dock.
Q: Is this boat available for a private charter?
A: Private charters are available! Please contact us at 866.434.6668 for pricing and information.
Q: Is there snorkeling available?
A: Snorkeling masks and mouthpieces are available on a first-come basis and are complementary.
*Snorkeling depends upon water clarity, strong winds/currents, or predators/jellyfish.
We do not offer snorkeling on Saturday and Sunday during peak season, due to boat traffic concerns.
Q: Are food and drinks available on the ferry for purchase?
A: Food and drinks are not available for purchase, but better yet you can bring your own to eat on the ferry or to enjoy on the Egmont Key. Please discard all trash in the cans provided on the ferry. There are no trash receptacles on the island, so please bring back everything you brought. Alcohol is allowed on the ferry but is not permitted on Egmont Key.
