51st Annual Dunedin Highland Games & Festival is a day of competitions in solo piping & drumming, pipe band competitions, highland dancing, athletics, and more. A 5K run through Hammock Park with entrants dressed in kilts!
Event Details
A full day of music with Celtic Conundrum, MacGilliossa, Seven Nations and Off Kilter. Many vendors selling foods and merchandise - shop for that kilt, celtic wares and jewelry! Over 30 Scottish Clans and Societies will be there to help you discover your family heritage. Sheep herding demonstrations with Scottish border collies. A Kids Zone with games for the youngsters. Don't miss the Opening Ceremonies at Noon with a parade, and Closing Ceremonies with Massed Bands and awards of the day. Rain or Shine event, Children 12 & Under free, No Pets/No Coolers.
