Old Skool Labor Day Weekend at Shephard's Beach Resort - Shephard's is doing it HUGE this Labor Day Weekend with four straight days of live music, dancing, drink specials and more at their beach resort location in Clearwater.  We're talking performances from the Ying Yang Twins, Rev Run of Run DMC, DJ Skribble, and more both inside the Wave Nightclub and out on the Tiki Deck from August 30 - September 1.

GeckoFest 2013 - Head out to Gulfport on Saturday, August 31 for GeckoFest 2013, a family-friendly street festival where Mardi Gras meets the Renaissance with strolling street performers, main stage musicians, performing artists and vendors on Gulfport's Beach Blvd.  The festivities kick off at 10 a.m. and run all throughout the day.  FREE!

2013 Sponge Docks Arts and Crafts Festival - The Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks will play host to the 2013 Sponge Docks Arts and Crafts Festival, taking place on August 31 and September 1.  Head out for a free arts festival featuring the work of 90 of the nation’s top artist and crafters with USA-made creations including jewelry, ceramics, plants, photography, paintings, homemade soap and more.

Rapp Brewing 1st Anniversary - This one's for all the beer lovers looking to celebrate over Labor Day Weekend in Seminole.  Rapp Brewing - rated as Florida's best new brewer in 2013 by Ratebeer.com - will host it's first birthday party on Sunday, September 1 at 2 p.m. with great beer, food from the Der Wurstwagen food truck, live music by Michael Nichols, and more.
