All the locals will tell you that the Sponge Docks, are the pride and joy of Tarpon Springs. For thirty years strong, the Annual Sponge Docks Seafood Festival has been bringing delicious seafood, craft vendors and live music all weekend long. This year, the 31st annual event returns November 9-11, 2018. It's a can't-miss weekend event of food, music and fun for all ages!
For newcomers, the event takes place along Dodecanese Boulevard. Admission is FREE. Also, the parking is free at the at Dog Splash Park at 508 Live Oak Street.
There is nothing you should be worried about if you aren’t a big seafood fan. The event will provide plenty of delicious choices of food, including non-seafood items, gyros, souvlaki, baklava, and some of the best Greek restaurants. The most important thing to enjoy is the world famous sponge docks.

Last but not least, how can we forget the music? On Friday, November 9th, Joel & Dakota will perform at 12:00 pm; Smoobe at 3:00 pm; Razin’ Jane at 6:00 pm.
On Saturday, November 10th, AJ & The Geezer will be playing at 10:00 am; Bishop Avenue Duo at 12:30 pm; Paul Anthony Band at 3:00 pm; The Foundation at 6:00 pm.
On Sunday, November 11st, Steve Borst will be on the stage at 11:00 am; I Heart Cats Band at 2:00 pm.
