Who is ready for a little Beachopoly™ Clearwater Beach style? We can't think of a better way to usher out 'formal' summer, celebrating the 'official end' than with this outrageously fun event! Brought to you by Shephard's Beach Resort and The Tropics Boat Tours it's time once again for the Clearwater Beach Scavenger Hunt & Bar Crawl , a bodacious event boasting unlimited beer, wine and a chance to win $1000, so WHAT are you waiting for.... the details? Well that's what we are here for! Let's break it down:
It is time to REGISTER! You can sign up as an individual or as a team. Teams this year will be competing to win $1000 in CASH money, gift cards, beach hotel stays and a whole lot more as they 'scavenge' their way through Shephards, The Tropics Boat Tours, Surfside Taphouse, Beach Fire Bar & Grille, Sharky's Beach Bar and Pan Filo's Bar & Grille. The Tropics Boat Tours as hosts of the event are the people to call and the place to report to on August 20th. The Crawl begins with a cruise where competitors receive everything they need to compete while enjoying unlimited beer, wine, and soft drinks along with the beautiful sights and sounds of Clearwater's waterways. Team shirts are provided FREE, colors are first come, first serve, so if you want to compete in PINK like me you better get there early, festivities begin at 6 PM. You can pick your team colors up at The Tropics Boat Tours booth.

Never been on a Tropics Tour? You are in for a treat! Always a memorable experience, their tropical-themed, double-decker catamaran accommodates up to 125 passengers. There are two decks allowing you to sail in the sunshine or relax in the shade. While onboard enjoy unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks!
One of the best live music venues on the beach this New American Cuisine Taphouse, in the heart of Clearwater Beach on Mandalay Avenue, has the BEST Veggie Burger, and Buffalo Cauliflower I have ever eaten! The Taphouse is also the first place I came across Lobster Corn Dogs, if they are on the menu be sure to order these puppies up! Beer flights are available, taps include familiar local craft brews and several new ones you may not have tried.

This bar under the yellow awning on the North end of the beach is making a BIG splash on Clearwater Beach! Beach Fire mixes innovative BBQ recipes with fresh seafood, wait till you see their menu! Happy hour is Monday through Friday from noon - 7 PM. If like me you love Fireball Whiskey I recommend beach Fire's Tiki Torch Shooters, 2 parts Fireball, with equal parts coconut rum and pineapple juice. Add their Grilled Caribbean Shrimp with lime and chilies and you are in for a Haute night, beach style!

Sharky's Beach Bar, a 'local beach bar' fave is a great place to kick back and watch the sunset, You will love Sharky's unique pub grub, especially their Beer Brats. If you've ever been to Wisconsin you know they cook brats in a way that once you try it you are spoiled for life and only want them 'that way!". Tried and true, Sharky's does beer and Brats the Wisconsin way!

In it's simplest terms, Pan Filo on Clearwater Beach is a Gourmet Taco, Tequila, and Whiskey Bar. With a focus on serving the best Mexican Food and craft drinks on the beach, Pan Filo's Company is sure to please. A recent patron said: "Seriously, I just had the best Mexican food and Margaritas I've ever had! Unfortunately, it's in Florida!" Creative, delicious tapas, tacos, and tequila are the name of the game at Pan Filo's.

Home to Shephard's Backyard Tiki Bar, Shephard's Wave Night Club, Shephard's Ocean Flame and Salt, the open air Tequila Bar and Tap Room, Shepard's is where the 3rd Annual Clearwater Beach Scavenger Hunt & Bar Crawl will end. As part of the 'party' you pay no cover at Shepard's where you will finish out the night in "Beach Mode" and find out who the winner is, someone is going to win, why not you!
