The Times Turkey Trot is a family-friendly race event that takes place in Clearwater annually on Thanksgiving morning. It began in 1979 as just a 10K and has grown into one of the most popular holiday events in the county. The event includes four races. The 10K Turkey Trot, the 5K Wingding, the 5K Fun Run and the 1 Mile Gobbler. Strollers are welcome in the 1 Mile Gobbler and the 5K Fun Run. The race attracts over 15,000 participants each year. The finish line is at the Clearwater High School Stadium.
