Get Up & SUP Clearwater: Intro to Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Want to learn how to SUP, but not sure where to start? Join iTREKKERS Thursday morning in Sand Key (just south of Clearwater Beach) for a beginner’s lesson right on the beach. Great for adults and kids, you’ll learn the basics of standing up and paddling from an experienced instructor.

This is a 45 minute lesson that includes a 15 minute intro on the beach, followed by 30 minutes to test out your skills in shallow water accompanied by the instructor. You’ll learn:
* Best practices and safety
* How to balance on the board
* How to hold the paddle
* Techniques for conserving energy
...and plenty of other beginner tips and tricks!

MULTIPLE LESSON TIMES AVAILABLE: 9AM, 10AM, 11AM, & 12PM! Seats are limited so reserve your spot soon!

WHAT’S INCLUDED:
Lesson costs $10 and will be limited to 4 people per time slot to ensure plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor. We'll take care of the paddle boards and life jackets, but remember to bring your bathing suit, sunscreen, and water! Kids 6 years old and younger get to paddleboard for FREE! Have a child 6 or younger? They'll get to paddle with you for FREE.

WHERE TO MEET:
This lesson takes place at Abu Seba Beach, which is a small stretch located in Sand Key, just south of Clearwater Beach). Turn into the parking lot in front of the Clearwater Community Sailing Center and head left towards the sand — there's plenty of free public parking directly on the beach.

You'll meet Instructor Dylan right on the beach. Look for the iTREKKERS flag, you can't miss it!
