Description
GRAMMY® nominated Swedish guitar player and songwriter Yngwie Malmsteen brings his neoclassical metal playing style back to the Capitol Theatre!
Event Details
Yngwie’s career has spanned over 40 years with over twenty albums to his name. Drawing influence from classical composers such as Bach, Paganini and Vivaldi, he is responsible for birthing the neo-classical genre to the world of rock. His first solo album, Rising Force (now considered the bible for neoclassical rock) was released in 1984 and made it to #60 on the Billboard charts, an impressive feat for a mostly instrumental guitar album with no commercial airplay. He has blazed a trail on the concert circuit that has established him as one of rock guitar’s brightest stars. You won’t want to miss this guitar legend in the intimate setting that only the Capitol Theatre can provide!
