Programs and Events - postponed until further notice
Tucked away on a quiet, oak-lined street, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Center is a youth and teen based facility. It offers unique programs and events for tweens and teens, with the goal of providing a safe, positive environment to "hang out." The facility also offers classes for adults including Okinawan Karate and Self Defense.
2020 Summer Camps begin June 1st, in a limited capacity. For more information, call 727-812-4530.
Playground
The playground was designed with the help of the Youth Advisory Committee and features state-of-the-art equipment including a large play structure with "pods," "jacks" and a "DNA Strand" for imaginative climbing and jumping. It also features a bouncing balance beam, a pair of swings that can accommodate up to four kids at once, a good old fashioned merry-go-round, and a large space net for climbing. Visit the playgrounds webpage for a list of all City of Dunedin playgrounds.
