Event Details
During this photo workshop, we will show how to:
adjust camera settings for time exposures,
capture holiday lights bokeh
use a zooming technique for a creative effect
instruction on using Live Composite for Olympus micro-four-thirds camera users.
A limited number of loaner Olympus cameras and lenses will be available as well on a first-come, first serve basis. Please include your requests by email at time of ticket purchase.
Workshop fee includes admission to the Gardens as well as camera instruction and use of loaner equipment. The workshop is expected to run from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Following the workshop, you are welcome to stay and enjoy the Gardens which are open until 9:30pm.
Recommended Gear: A camera that allows you to change shutter speeds, a memory card and battery, your “fastest” lens – meaning your lens with the lowest f number, a zoom lens, a tripod if you have one, and comfortable clothing and shoes. Your sense of wonder! If you wish to borrow a camera, you will need to bring a memory card to use. If you don't have an SD memory card, please contact us when you purchase your ticket and at least 48 hours prior to the event and we will make arrangements to bring a card for you to purchase and keep.
