About Madeira Beach
Madeira Beach, Florida is located in Pinellas County on the west coast of the state. It is a small but beautiful town that is close in proximity to the Clearwater and Tampa areas. The population is approximately 5,000 residents with many more during the winter months. Many of the residents are senior citizens but the younger population is growing rapidly. The town itself is only minutes from the beach and plays host to the famous John's Pass Village and the boardwalk that many tourists enjoy immensely. Madeira Beach, Florida offers not only its beautiful beaches, but fine dining and many Five Star hotel accommodations. There are many shops including arts and crafts stores, antique shops, clothing and jewelry stores. At John's Pass Village in Madeira Beach, Florida you can enjoy great seafood at one of the many restaurants. Most of the fish and seafood served comes in fresh daily from the fisherman who earn their living fishing on the Gulf of Mexico. You can also rent a spot on a chartered fishing boat or take a cruise. The night time cruises are quite popular with those visiting the area from you of state. Madeira Beach, Florida also offers many public beaches and sports parks. One popular spot is the Causeway Park which offers many picnic pavilions, fishing from the pier and an observation deck.
