The Bon-Aire Resort/ SandBar Bills is looking for an experienced Grill Cook to join our team! SandBar Bills is an outdoor Bar & Grill.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Follow the prep list daily
- Label and stock all ingredients
- Prepare cooking ingredients and food for service
- Set up and Stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and timely fashion
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out the trash
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
- Excellent understanding of cooking methods, equipment, and procedures
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in the kitchen
- Must be able to work well with others
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and cook outside by the grill
- Must be able to spend the majority of the day standing
- Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
Hours:
- Full availability needed; flexible days/hours
- Weekdays and Weekends between the hours of 10:00AM – 9:00PM
- Weekends and Holidays included
