The Hermitage Apartment Homes in St. Petersburg to Host Reception Celebrating Ne

The Allen Morris Company’s luxury apartment community, The Hermitage Apartment Homes, is hosting a reception to welcome its newest artist rotation featuring artwork by Florida-based artist Myron Hansen on August 11, in collaboration with the Morean Arts Center. The exhibit will be showcased throughout the Art Gallery at the Hermitage’s ground floor gallery space as part of the building’s curated art series rotation.

Exhibited throughout numerous museums and galleries, Hansen’s artwork reflects his unique perspective of becoming one with his art, where he incorporates his energy and movements to every aspect of the process as he creates an art piece. Additionally, he shared his passion for art for 24 years while teaching high school students at the Pinellas County Center for the Arts, an arts magnet program for high school students. Hansen also founded Saltwater Graphics, a fine art printmaking program at the Pinellas County Center for the Arts, where he taught all of the major printmaking processes.

The exhibit marks the apartment community’s fifth collection to be showcased at The Art Gallery at the Hermitage. Hansen’s collection will be on display until November 11.

Boasting an art gallery complete with paintings and sculptures chosen as part of a rotation of exhibitions, the apartment community’s main gallery space is open for residents and art enthusiasts to come together and enjoy the fusion concept of modern living with inspiring artistry in the heart of the thriving Central Arts District.
The Art Gallery at the Hermitage is open from 9am-5pm daily to view Hansen’s exhibit.

The event is free and open to the public.
