This is a sacred time for creating balance in your life. on this day when dark and light are equal and all forces on Earth are balanced. First Unity CommUNITY celebrates the turning of the Wheel of the year with a Spring Equinox Celebration. Celebrating renewed energy, abundance and prosperity of many kinds.
Join Rev. Kimberley, Rev. Dr. Aileen, The First Unity Voices and the First Unity Dancers as the days grow longer and Spring begins. Bring an open heart for this joyous ritual and self-reflection experience. During this one-of-a- kind Livestream experience, we ask you to Enjoy your noise makers, Drums, Rattles, Tambourines and whatever you like to celebrate in a Drum Circle at the conclusion of the service.
At the equinox, days and nights will be approximately equal in length. For us in the Northern Hemisphere, the sun is rising earlier now, and nightfall comes later. We’re enjoying the new birth of spring and warming days.
The longer days will bring warmer weather. Creatures of the wild are birthing new babies and enjoying new energy and new life.
All around us, trees and plants are beginning this year’s cycle of growth. Perhaps they are responding with glorious green leaves, or a beautiful bloom beginning to open.
