ARTS 46/4, The Center for the Arts at First Unity Spiritual Campus is proud to present a WANDA NERO BUTLER Production.,”A NIGHT WITH LADY DAY” . Billie Holiday is considered one of the best jazz vocalists of all time, Holiday had a thriving career as a jazz singer for many years, Also known as Lady Day, her autobiography was made into the 1972 film Lady Sings the Blues. Wanda Nero Butler is a Stellar Award winning vocalist who performed many years with Aretha Franklin.
Enjoy an evening of Billie Holiday songs presented by Wanda Nero Butler while enjoying some of Billie Holiday’s favorite southern goodness for dinner. Dress in period clothing (40’s & 50’s) if desired. Ladies add a flower to your hair and feast on Good-God Southern Cuisine! See you there!
