Description

Primarily a wildlife refuge, Egmont Key State Park is also a personal refuge to many locals & tourists throughout the year. Palm tree lined secluded beaches, 150 year old working light house and old gun batteries which were used to defend Tampa Bay. No shops are on the island and access to the island is by private boats only.
