Sponsored by the Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce, the outdoor showcase has been a holiday favorite for more than 25 years, and has always been held during Thanksgiving weekend on Small Business Saturday and the following Sunday. Small Business Saturday is an American shopping holiday held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year. The event encourages holiday shoppers to patronize businesses that are small and local. With the holidays right around the corner, the Thanksgiving Art & Craft Festival is the perfect opportunity for locals and visitors alike to shop small for their gift giving needs and avoid getting mauled at the mall!
The weekend’s event will feature the original works of new and upcoming talent as well as established artists and crafters. Whether you are an art and craft aficionado or simply looking for a one-of-a-kind gift item, there is something for everyone here; from folk art, earthenware, and paintings, to wearable art, body products, pet products, personalized gifts and more. Food and beverage vendors will also be on hand.
