Description
The Real Clash (TRC) is an amalgamation of current and former students of St. Petersburg College with very diverse musical backgrounds and tastes. They were all enrolled in the Music Industry Recording Arts program fatefully intertwined by independent class projects.
Hip-Hop is at the core of this "supergroup” but from the first day, they challenged each other to take every creation beyond the stereotype by implanting various forms of modern rock with oddly interspersed half time shuffles, old school funk, soul, R&B and jazz experimenting from time to time with elements of pop. As vocalists Shadcore, Jay Acolyte & Voxx take charge up front, TRC is a musical force to be reckoned with.
The band has made many media and performance appearances since its inception in 2012.
