The landscape is changing in Downtown St. Petersburg. Not only is Downtown filled with chic restaurants, cafes, breweries and a thriving arts scene, it's also becoming home to a burgeoning technology community. One of the leaders of this technology boom is Priatek, a technology company specializing in performance-based digital advertising. Founded in 2009 by Milind Bharvirkar, Priatek has quickly grown from 2 employees working out of a garage to the company's headquarters in One Progress Plaza.
Priatek is a leader in the Tampa Bay technology community and is committed to not only growing their business in St. Petersburg, but also to developing and further enhancing the technology sector. On September 17th, One Progress Plaza, one of St. Petersburg's iconic landmarks, will be renamed Priatek Plaza. This renaming will put St. Petersburg on the map as a business friendly city with a strong and growing technology industry. The new Priatek Plaza will be a home base for St. Petersburg's technology community and will continue to be a building the local community can take pride in.
Priatek kicked off the renaming festivities with a VIP Reception on September 16th. Company executives, city leaders, business executive, members of the Tampa Bay technology community and special guests gathered to celebrate this historic event. Bharvirkar humbly recounted the rapid success of Priatek, reaffirmed his commitment to bring measurable economic value to the city and desire to create a thriving technology community in Downtown St. Petersburg.
Priatek designs, manufactures, and operates a network of Prize-Based Digital Advertising™ kiosks under its UGot2Play™ brand. These kiosks are placed in public venues such as malls, restaurants, hotels and airports and allow advertisers to appeal to consumers in a unique and fun way. The kiosks feature large digital display ads and engage consumers by inviting them to play digital games in order to win prizes and discounts from advertised area retailers.
Everyone is a winner in this game! There is no cost to play and every time a consumer plays, they win a valuable coupon or reward.
