January 15, 2022: Creative Contrasts
Sometimes the key to creating a beautiful work of art is as simple as black and white! This Saturday we’re exploring the idea of Notan in art – a Japanese design concept taught by the Arts and Crafts movement’s very own Arthur Wesley Dow. Join us in the Education Studio to create your own contrast collages, explore silhouettes with shadow puppets, and more!
Cost: included with the price of admission
• Drop-in art making activities: 10am-3pm
• Family-oriented guided tour: 12:30pm
