The Margaret Acheson Stuart Society proudly announces the details of its highly anticipated 28th Art in Bloom events, set to captivate St. Pete's social scene from April 10 to April 13, 2025. This annual celebration has become a cornerstone in the cultural calendar, seamlessly blending art, florals, and philanthropy. This year’s Art in Bloom’s overall theme is “Garden of Art” and is comprised of three separate events: Flowers After Hours, the Art in Bloom Luncheon, and Conversations with the Designers. These three events coincide with the beautiful floral interpretations by local designers and hobbyists, displayed in the Museum of Fine Arts’ galleries that complement the Museum’s collection. This year’s Art in Bloom Co-Chairs are Nancy Rutland and Nancy Westphal.
The Flowers After Hours — “Midnight in the Garden” event will be held the evening of Thursday, April 10, 2025. Galleries open at 5:30 p.m. for viewing. Event festivities take place from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. in the Marly Room and gardens of The Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg. Attendees will enjoy a first look of the floral arrangements, chill to the music of Sierra Amora, while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. Individual tickets are $175. This year’s Flowers After Hours Co-Chairs are Elizabeth Poore and Meghan Wood.
The Art in Bloom “Garden of Roses” Luncheon will be held at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club (11 Central Ave.) beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025. Attendees will enjoy a formal sit-down lunch and entertaining program presented by the author of The Color of Roses, Danielle Dall’Armi Hahn. Mrs. Hahn is a nationwide supplier of fine roses, noted speaker and contributor to many publications. Individual tickets are $175 and up. This year’s Art in Bloom Luncheon Chair is Vickie Piscitello.
Conversations with the Designers will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg. This event provides an intimate opportunity for attendees to meet the Art in Bloom floral designers who will be discussing their individual floral art interpretations. This year’s Floral Installation Chair is Rachael Russell DeVicente.
The floral arrangements will be on view, at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg galleries (255 Beach Dr NE), from April 10 to April 13, 2025. Viewing of the floral arrangements is included in the price of museum admission.
