Ocean Hai is a great and much-needed addition to the restaurant scene on Clearwater Beach. It has a great vibe and the decor is best described as casual Asian. The food was really good. We tried the Peking Duck Breast, the Salmon with Soba Noodles, the fried Brussels Sprouts and the Lobster Fried Rice. For dessert we had a green-tea waffle with ginger ice cream and caramel. All dishes were very good and different from the typical food you'll find at a lot of beach restaurants. Dinner for two with two drinks, and all the dishes I listed above came to around $150 with tip. The view of the beach and the sunset was spectacular. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for great food and a unique experience on Clearwater Beach.
Pros: Really good food. Great atmosphere with direct beach views and evening sunsets, easy valet parking.
Cons: No locally produced distilled spirits in the bar. The overall selection was good, but if you want to support you local spirits makers, this is not a place for you. Service was a little slow, especially at the end but nothing that would prevent us from returning.
